ISN Eastern and Central Europe Regional Board Webinar: Rare and inherited kidney diseases in the region

The webinar will address critical aspects of rare diseases. Despite growing awareness, significant disparities remain in the availability and application of advanced diagnostic tools across several countries in the region. The early and accurate identification of rare diseases has become increasingly important, as recent therapeutic advances offer the potential to alter disease progression and patient outcomes. Delayed diagnosis limits treatment efficacy but also influences post-transplant outcomes, increases the burden on healthcare systems and diminishes patients’ quality of life.

Learning objectives:

- Diagnostic approach to rare diseases in nephrology
- Rare nephrological diseases in the region: current overview
- Rare diseases and kidney transplantation
